Australian Physiological Society

The Australian Physiological Society provides a physiology education stream along side the research stream at the annual national scientific meeting. This is an excellent opportunity, as a combined track academic, for professional development by remaining current across a broad range of physiology topics and as a forum for disseminating my research on the structure and function of ion channels. I have previously presented abstracts in the physiology education stream and participated in the education workshops that are a feature of the meetings. In 2018, I was on the local organising committee for the meeting in Sydney and contributed to the programming, including the education workshop on assessment in physiology.
