Peer review

The summative peer review of teaching process was established at UNSW in 2017, as part of the 2025 Strategy. In recognition of my contributions and standing as an educator in the Faculty of Medicine, I was nominated by the Senior Vice Dean (Education), Prof Gary Velan, as a peer reviewer. Since 2018, I have completed peer reviews in the Faculties of Medicine, Science, Law, Business, and Computer Science and Engineering. While the process is a summative review, it is also an opportunity to reinforce those aspects of teaching that are effective and engaging for students, and to encourage reflection on those dimensions that require further development.
