Teaching context and philosophy

As a Conjoint Associate Lecturer in the Discipline of Paediatrics & Child Health at UNSW, my teaching philosophy is centered on integrating clinical excellence with academic rigor to foster the next generation of medical professionals. With extensive experience in paediatrics, immunisation, public health and infectious diseases, I emphasise evidence-based practice and real-world application. I actively engage in diverse teaching methods, including bedside teaching, online tutorials, and simulation sessions, tailored to enhance student learning and critical thinking. I strive to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes continuous professional development and high standards of patient care.
