Curriculum and Course Design

I focus on creating learning activities and assessments that connect theory to authentic practice. My aim is to engage students from the very first week of study.

  • Developed and convened EXPT1182 Exercise & Nutrition - restructured practicals for authentic, discipline-specific skills.

  • Designed EXPT2151 Motor Learning and Motor Control - applied constructivist sequencing and real-world client simulations.

  • Introduced authentic assessments including staged skill demonstrations, reflective practice, and collaborative tasks.

  • Contribute to culturally safe peer-practice policies through the Faculty Clinical Peer Practice advisory group.
