I have always had a keen interest in science, and this has evolved over the years into a passion for scientific research and education, supported by my solid foundations in scientific knowledge, problem-solving and research techniques, and now in educational pedagogy. In 2011 I completed my Bachelor of Science (Honours) at UNSW, specialising in genetics and molecular biology. In 2018 I was awarded my PhD (Medicine) in medical research from the University of Sydney and the Heart Research Institute (HRI). My PhD has given me a solid foundation in research skills, a deeper understanding of medical science and has especially prepared me for training students in scientific techniques and theories
