In 2018, before I became an EF academic, I was one of three staff (out of hundreds of FULT alumni) to be awarded a FULT Alumni Scholarship, for my paper on ‘Keeping the rural in rural medicine’. The funding specifically supported my research and dissemination of learning and teaching scholarship at the national and international conferences:
Macer-Wright, J. et al., Keeping the rural in rural medicine: Establishing a full undergraduate medical program in a regional town. 2018. Conference presentation, Third Annual TEQSA Conference, Melbourne, Australia.
Macer-Wright, J. et al., Understanding the factors affecting student performance in rural and metropolitan campuses. 2019. Conference presentation, AMEE: An International Association for Medical Education Europe, Vienna, Austria
