My inaugural lecture as Fellow of the UNSW Scientia Education Academy

In this lecture, I describe the development of my teaching practice, based in experience and evidence, naming the challenges associated and describing the solutions that have contributed to success.

Reviewing this, it is easy to see how my current interest has developed into oral assessment, especially with regard to disciplinary oracy, as a cross-institutional approach to addressing the weaknesses of non-inviligated written assessment as a means to verify learning in a genAI-enabled world.
