This exercise of developing an argument (which is for, or against, your beliefs) and listening to your peers oppose this perspective is designed to allow learners to understand different perspectives and to approach clinical narratives with the principle of charity. This also encourages students to understand the 'there is no right answer' principle I am passionate about teaching.
