When teaching and supporting medical students, I believe it is essential to combine clear, structured content delivery with mentorship and encouragement to help them develop critical thinking, clinical skills, and a deep understanding of medical concepts. I apply interactive learning techniques such as case-based learning that integrate real-life clinical cases that students can work through. This helps them apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, fostering diagnostic and treatment planning skills. Also, problem-based learning where students are presented with clinical problems and must research and discuss possible solutions. I also promote the use of learning portfolios, where students reflect on clinical experiences and their professional development.
