I was honored to receive two nominations for 'Educator of the Year' by General Surgeons Australia (GSA) in 2020 and 2021. GSA works in partnership with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) to oversee the training program in Australia and manage the Australian Board in General Surgery (ABiGS).

I have a strong passion for the governance of education and the importance of supporting mental health within rigorous training programs. Through my work with the NSW State Training Committee, a division of RACS, I was able to drive meaningful change in this field by collaborating closely with the Ministry of Health and Specialist Training sub-committees.
