UNSW Learning & Teaching Forums

Having taken up an Education Focussed role in 2020 and appointed Co-convenor of a second year introductory course in Neuroscience (NEUR2201), I felt inspired to engage with other teaching academics at UNSW about the challenges and triumphs encountered to transfer this course to a fully remote course in light of COVID-19. The Learning and Teaching Forum provides the ideal setting for sharing learning and teaching practices across faculties. Presenting at the Learning and Teaching Forum provided the opportunity to focus on certain aspects of the NEUR2201 course, reflect on what things went well and what could be improved. It also provided me with a greater appreciation for Learning Analytics and how I can use that to my advantage when I plan and design course activities and assessments.

After having presented at the University-wide Learning and Teaching Forum, I was invited to present at the Faculty-specific Learning and Teaching Forum: Medicine and Health Education: COVID and beyond.
