UNSW curriculum redesign sprint meetings

A series of curriculum planning meetings were chaired by A/Prof Chan and strengths and weaknesses of the existing medical curriculum and opportunities were discussed and documented. There were a couple of students as consumers on the redesign panel.

I worked to include relevant topics into the curriculum, such as critical bleeding contemporary management, a pain curriculum,

I am the primary supervisor for Anthony Yap , a 4th year ILP, Honours student on the ROTEM project , he had just submitted his manuscript in October 2025.

In 2026 I will be the primary supervisor for Tony Zhang, currently in year 3 of UNSW med for the patient blood management project.

POW , along with my fellow Austin lee, we ran education sessions on critical bleeding for Medical students and junior doctors at POWH.
