I am the primary supervisor for Anthony Yap , a 4th year ILP, Honours student on the ROTEM project , he had just submitted his manuscript in October 2025.

In 2026 I will be the primary supervisor for Tony Zhang, currently in year 3 of UNSW med for the patient blood management project.

In 2024 I co-supervised one ILP/Honours UNSW med 4 student Valencia Tan for her manuscript and then poster presentation at the World Congress on Endometriosis march 2025.

I have been invited to examine for two ILP Honours projects. The first is by A/Prof Peter Grant, cardiac surgeon, on aortic surgery and the second is Dr Favero on AV fistula management with A/Prof Shannon Thomas

POW , along with my fellow Austin lee, we ran education sessions on critical bleeding for Medical students and junior doctors at POWH.

also RHW simulations along with Dr Siobhan Lee , using the SIM we have designed and delivered simulation and will repeat this for ongoing groups of students 

Clinical Teaching UNSW Medicine:

2025               Course Adult health Phase 2 with 12 students per group

Over the past 25 years i have mentored over 20 Anaesthesia trainees through mentor programs.

in 2025 I commenced mentoring medical students at UNSW where the maximum is 2 per mentor 

Over the past 4 years, I have spent dozens of hours assisting other NSW hospitals, including Nepean, Port Macquarie, Wollongong and Lismore,  as they implement goal directed bleeding

On Saturday 26th July 2025 I spoke to the phase 1,2 and 3 students interested in critical care about Patient Blood management and life as an anaesthetist .
