Leading a Team on Teamwork

Due to my experience in group work over the past three years, in 2021, I was invited by the Education Focusses Career Development Team to become the Co-leader of the Team Work Community of Practice (CoP). This CoP consists of 22 members from five different Faculties across UNSW Kensington campus and UNSW Canberra Campus. The main purpose of the CoP is to curate resources that cover teamwork projects from start to finish that can be adopted, modified, and used by others who are interested in starting group work in their own courses and programs. We aim to collect resources on developing the teamwork task, selection of members, assessment of the task as well as the team's working process, management of students and tutors, evaluation, and reflection.

MY ROLE

As the Co-leader of the team, my role requires me to run the monthly meetings, coordinate with our project officer to check meeting agendas and meeting minutes, move the existing projects forward, produce posters and presentations for UNSW events, and write/edit annual reports.
