Recognising the role research plays in education in the discipline (Physiology, Integrated Learning in Medicine), joined the AiR Program to become a research lab member in the Baum Lab. As an education-focussed lecturer, there was a deep desire to continue sharpening critical thinking skills within Medical Science research . As part of this program, I engaged in laboratory meetings and journal clubs with the Baum research lab to remain updated on latest research methodologies and advances that can elevate teaching of students within the Medical and Science disciplines.
