Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Rheumatology, admitted 2004

I am a specialist Rheumatologist who see patients in both public (Prince of Wales Hospital) and private settings. As a practicing physician I must annually satisfy RACP and AHPRA requirements for currency of practice and continuing professional development. Because I work in a teaching hospital, I also need to keep my NSW Health mandatory training up to date.

Ongoing clinical practice in these settings means I must stay continually updated with clinical best practice in my discipline and have a contemporary understanding of patient journeys in the Australian healthcare system. This gives my curriculum input and teaching currency and authenticity.
