I have been an active member of the International Competency-Based Health Professions Educators (ICBHP) Collaborative since 2019. This is a global network of recognised scholars and educators, dedicated to advancing competency-based health professions education. Participation in this collaboration has given me the opportunity contribute to international scholarship on entrustment, workplace-based assessment and competency-based medical education, working alongside leading HPE researchers to develop shared terminology, conceptual frameworks and practical guidance for educators. My involvement has enabled me to both influence and be influenced by contemporary developments in health professions education beyond my own institution and into educational practice internationally.

I have co-authored multiple papers with ICBHP Collaborative members, written blogs, and presented with members internationally at symposia and workshops. This work complements my doctoral research on trust, risk and entrustment, and has reinforced my commitment to educational scholarship that informs teaching practice and contributes to the advancement of the field. 

I was part of the Organising Committee for the ‘4th World Summit in Competency-Based Education (CBE) in Healthcare Professions’, Basel, Switzerland, August 22 - 23, 2024.

I currently sit on the ICBHP Collaborative's Membership Committee.
