Actionable and constructive feedback plays a vital role in ensuring each student is making progress in their academic development. In my subjective experience students often have the knowledge and capabilities to succeed but lack the confidence to express this knowledge in their work. With the right feedback and support they can be guided to meet the outcomes outlined in their assessment criteria and remain on the journey to achieve their key course milestones. This process should be dynamic and organic, whether it occurs in formal assessments or in general course discussion as we confront exam style questions. This is one aspect of my teaching with which I place significant emphasis and is reflected in my consistently high student evaluations.
