Supporting student learning through clinical supervision

One of the things I like most about being an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is that it is possible for my teaching to extend outside of the classroom. We are fortunate at UNSW to have the Lifestyle Clinic, a centre for excellence providing physical activity and lifestyle programs and services for the prevention and management of chronic disease, injury and disability.

All 4th year Exercise Physiology students spend at least one term on clinical placement at the Lifestyle Clinic. I have been actively involved in the supervision of these students at the clinic to assist in the development of their clinical skills.

Thanks from the director of the Lifestyle Clinic for my assistance with supervision
