Students' feedback from PBLs shows my ability to engage and foster independent learning, and provide helpful feedback (myExperience survey reports are attached). The survey report 2020 T3 to 2021 T3 shows tremendous improvements in my teaching skills, as reflected by student percentage satisfaction and individual feedback.
2021 Term 3 Individual Report (PHSL3221 Endocrine, Reproductive & Dev.) shows 100% strong agreement with the quality of my teaching and 100% strong agreement for encouraging student participation and providing helpful feedback. Overall, my score was 6/6 in every aspect evaluated.
Similarly, the myExperience survey report for my role as a facilitator in M2B MFAC1526 Ageing and Endings B course (2022 TP 4) reveals 100% strong agreement with the quality of my teaching and my contribution to enhancing students' comprehension of concepts and principles.
In the practical demonstration role in a different course, my score as an Instructor for "Mean across all responses" was 5.54 (2022 Term 1 Physiology 1A), which was higher than that of the School (5.41).
Through reflection on my teaching and reliance on student feedback, over the years of casual teaching at UNSW, I have honed my ability to not jump to help quickly and let the student work through a productive struggle while guiding them by providing hints or triggers to reach the correct answers.
