ILP and Honours student supervision
I have supervised or co-supervised 12 ILP/Honours students since 2009, most recently two Honours students in 2020 of which both were awarded First class Honours. PODS leader - Teaching Accelerator Program
In 2022, I was asked to contribute to the inaugural Teaching Accelerator Program as a Peer Orientation, Development and Support (PODS) leader. The Teaching Accelerator Program was introduced as a way to ensure that all new teaching staff at the university are supported, connected and equipped with the information and skills needed to offer UNSW students an outstanding learning experience
Supporting the development of effective learning objectives as the Neuroscience Honours Convenor
In my role as the Neuroscience Honours convenor, I engage with academics that teach the Honours students research techniques in a workshop format as part of the students’ coursework. About a third of the academics are in research-only roles with limited teaching experience into undergraduate courses.
