Mitchell transitioned to smaller lecture 'snacks' with YouTube style editing in 2022 in the (then) new unit EXPT3152 - as well as assiting co-convenor Dr Matt Jones to implement a similar style. These were well recieved with comments in MyExperience such as:

In 2024 Mitchell established the Level 3 Health, Safety, and Environment committee for the School of Health Sciences. This involved writing a constitution, terms of reference, and obtaining approval from faculty and UNSW safety. 

Since implementing this committee, Mitchell now sits as chair with the representatives being from each individual discipline in the school. Mitchell
