For National Science Week 2026, I developed and delivered Anatomy According to Hollywood, a public lecture through UNSW's Museum of Human Disease exploring anatomical misconceptions in popular films through humour and accessible science communication.
Popular demand led to a second, sold-out Halloween Special lecture, while the initiative received recognition through features on National Science Week's official social media channels.
Featured on the official National Science Week Instagram account, showcasing Anatomy According to Hollywood and its contribution to engaging the wider community with anatomical science through popular culture and creative science communication.
Digital learning hub I developed to extend Anatomy According to Hollywood beyond the live lecture, providing curated film watchlists organised by anatomical systems, supplementary educational resources and opportunities for continued engagement with anatomy.
