Facilitating the use of Team-Based Learning at UNSW and Beyond
I am a pioneer in Team-Based Learning (TBL) at UNSW. Designed by Larry Michaelsen, TBL is a evidence-based structure method to teach content through individual and teamwork in a carefully scaffolded manner. My courses were the first fully TBL courses at UNSW, and I designed them from scratch.

I've contributed to revising BSc major in Earth Science, a 1st year geology course and BEng(Hons) in Mining Engineering
I was invited to contribute to the revision of the BSc major in Earth Science by colleagues from the Science Faculty which in turn led to the revision of the 1st year geology course GEOS1111, including aspects from my disciplinary expertise in geodynamics. I have also worked to establish the geoscience requirements of the BEng (Hons) in Mining Engineering program and participated in the
Academic Disability Advisor for the Faculty of Engineering
I am a member of the Faculty of Engineering's Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee for which I have served to build collaborative networks around universal design for teaching and removing obstacles for the equal access of learning for all.
