Leads Induction Day for all New Medical and Health Staff

I lead the biannual induction event for all new staff in the Medicine and Health Faculty, ensuring that they are aware of all professional development opportunities available to them, and that they have relevant health and safety, library, wellbeing and cultural information. I was invited to participate in the Course Enhancement Program (CEP) as a peer=mentor. CEP provides support and resources to co-ordinators of high priority courses with a student-centred approach to improving student experience, and I felt I was ideally placed to support colleagues through this program as the aims aligned very well

EF Champion for Medicine and Health 2023

In 2023 I will become one of two Education Focused Champions for the Faculty of Medicine and Health, succeeding Professors Gary Velan and Patsie Polly. In this role, I will engage with and advocate for EF academics in the faculty and continue the work that has begun in gaining global recognition for UNSW as a leader in educational excellence.
